Ancient astronauts often refer to the beings depicted in various works of art throughout the entire world, who appear to be wearing spacesuits or associated with modern or futuristic looking vessels. They are discovered in the forms of artifacts, cave paintings, Nazca lines, temple inscriptions, and some monuments. Ancient astronauts are also surmised from ancient Semitic writings, the Vedas of India, the engravings of Mayan temples, and even works from Dynastic China.
Many talks and shows are given to propose that these types of drawings and sculptures are actually depicting extraterrestrials, time travelling humans, or ancient humans from advanced pre-civilizations who also obtained the ability for flight and even space travel.
