R.C. Christian was the name used by a mysterious individual who in June of 1979 hired the Elberton Granite Finishing Company to build what is now known as the Georgia Guidestones.

R.C. Christian is an obvious pseudonym and many believe that R.C. Christian might have been a Roman Catholic Christian or possibly a Rosicrucian and that he had the guidestones built as a "Ten Commandments of the New World Order".

The mysterious individual published a book about the guidestones in 1990 called Common Sense Renewed which he wrote under the name Robert Christian. In the book he admits that he was part of a secret society, but the question still remains. Which one?
